Government of Canada supports women living in rural and remote regions
The Honourable Rona Ambrose, Minister of Public Works and Government Services and Minister for Status of Women with Ms. Susan Truppe, Parliament Secretary for Status of Women Canada, marked International Women's Week by announcing Government of Canada support for new projects affecting women and girls living in rural and remote communities, and small urban centres.

The group has received Government of Canada support under the "Women Living in Rural and Remote Communities and Small Urban Centres" initiative.
