| Purpose: | The Table de concertation de Laval en condition féminine has developed a three-year strategy to ensure that regional decision-making bodies take the needs of women into account. The organization will encourage citizens, including immigrant women, to become actively involved in those bodies. As well, the organization will organize workshops and create public education tools. It also plans to have local authorities adopt its recommendations and develop projects specifically for women to improve the status of women in Laval. |
