| Purpose: |
This is a 7 month joint project between Waabi-maiingan Traditional Teaching Lodge (Grey Wolf) and the Robinson Superior Treaty Womens Council (RSTWC) that is aimed at directly impacting Aboriginal women of the Robinson Superior Treaty Area in their own communities. Twenty-one community gatherings are aimed at sharing traditional teachings, wisdom, healing, education, skill development, and the creation of community action plans and regional resource and skill inventory. The information and direction from each community gathering will also inform and influence both the RSTWC and Grey Wolf ultimately impacting issues affecting Aboriginal women in the Treaty Area and leading to the increased participation of Aboriginal Women on community, regional, and national levels. |
