| Purpose: |
This 17-month project in Southwest Nova Scotia aims to increase womens financial literacy and improve the economic condition of women living in poverty and their families. Within 12 community groups, learning materials to address service gaps will be designed and provided to assist these women in identifying their personal financial stressors, goals, budget, money management, systematic debt repayment, and plan savings. The results of this new integrated learning method will be shared with other organizations working in rural settings. |
