| Purpose: | The purpose of this project is to reduce the vulnerability and increase the safety of women aged 55 and over who live in the Quebec Region. Workshops /presentations will be organized together with the Sûreté du Québec for 75 vulnerable women, covering different issues related to the safety of older women. A quick reference guide based on participants’ comments and concerns will be developed and distributed. The participants will gain knowledge that will help them to feel safe in their environment and to remain active in their community. |
