Purpose:	Women will increase their knowledge and awareness of financial literacy and planning through a series of workshops and conferences organized around themes such as: planning your future financial prosperity; ensuring security; dealing with financial crisis; utilizing local resources and knowledge. A diverse steering committee representing youth, seniors, persons with disabilities, First Nations, and immigrant communities will guide the project and represent a diversity of women from this rural community. A network of women crossing all socio economic, cultural and demographic groups will be established.
