Purpose:	This project will address the range of institutional barriers and other factors that limit community efforts to advance the economic security and prosperity of women living in rural and remote communities. In order to identify and address the needs of women and girls, the project will build partnerships and strengthen co-operation among community stakeholders, including women, local, regional and provincial governments, local officials, women’s organizations and community groups, economic development agencies, businesses and professional associations, financial institutions and educational institutions.
