Purpose:	This 36 month project will build partnerships between community stakeholders to identify and respond to violence against women and girls in Thompson, Manitoba. A gender based analysis, including intersectional considerations, will be conducted on issues of violence against women in the community. On the basis of this analysis, stakeholders will develop a collaborative community action plan. The project will conduct periodic evaluations over the course of the project to promote public engagement and to assess the relevancy and impact of the plan.
