Purpose:	This 36 month project will work with women living in poverty and those who were previously living in poverty but are now earning a living wage. A community plan will be developed in collaboration with relevant community stakeholders, including major local employers to explore non- traditional work opportunities for women and to increase their economic security. The project will apply gender based analysis to community economic development initiatives to ensure that they are benefitting women as well.
