The youngest member of Canada's 2010 gold-medal Olympic women's hockey team, Marie-Philip Poulin scored the only two goals in that game against the United States! She was a seasoned hockey star even in her mid-teens and joined Canada's National Women's Team in 2007. As a member of the Quebec team, she helped win a silver medal at the 2007 and 2008 National Women's Under-18 Championship, and a bronze medal at the 2007 Canada Winter Games.

Marie-Philip attends Boston University, majoring in psychology. Of course, she plays on the school's hockey team! Since 2008, she has worked as a coach and mentor in a Quebec hockey development program. Renowned for her dedication and work ethic, Marie-Philip exemplifies the value of working hard, both on and off the ice.

Marie-Philip led all Canadian Women's Hockey League rookies in scoring in 2007-2008. She is from Beauceville, Quebec.
