The deadline for applications for themes Preventing and reducing violence against women and girls in high-risk neighbourhoods and Engaging men and boys in ending violence against women and girls was October 12, 2012.

The deadline for applications for themes Preventing and reducing violence against women and girls in the name of "honour" and Preventing and reducing the trafficking of women and girls through community planning was November 9, 2012.

We were delighted with the many excellent responses received, and have now begun the evaluation process.

Blueprint Projects

Status of Women Canada launched the Blueprint Projects to help community-based organizations address its three priority issues: ending violence against women; increasing women's economic security and prosperity; and encouraging women's leadership and democratic participation.
