Marie-Pier St-Hilaire - Stories - Women's History Month 2014

Marie-Pier St-Hilaire - Stories - Women's History Month 2014

I was fortunate to join a team of one person
in a training center on the south shore of Québec.
I fell in love with everything about business and training.
I took over this franchise that had only one trainer.
And then, slowly but surely and by opportunities,
the organization grew and is now what it is today.
A perfect example of a good business person
is to be able to create something that already exists,
but to bring it to another level, to make it innovative
simply by approaching it differently or integrating
different industries into the same service.
I think it's when we have the biggest doubts
that we do the greatest things.
So what I see with young girls and even with mature women is
that they tend to want to wait until everything is perfect.
That's very distinctive from men and it is a great quality,
but it can also be a big obstacle for an entrepreneur.
I would just say to go for it.
