Service and Program Delivery

Service delivery includes diverse activities focused on serving Canadians, everything from the delivery model design to interaction with the public.

Accessibility and meeting the needs of the client population are key considerations. Some questions to consider for incorporating GBA+ in service delivery are:

Question 1

What are the characteristics of the diverse groups of women and men that the program intends to serve?

Question 2

Do diverse groups of women and men have equitable access to the program or service? Why or why not?

For example, have further barriers to access been identified that were not considered in the previous research? How can these be rectified?

Question 3

Is training available to those delivering services to ensure they are sensitive to the needs of diverse women and men?
