Purpose: Femmes immigrantes en mouvement will endeavour to promote the social and economic integration of 30 disadvantaged women who are recent immigrants into the host society. To this end, 1) they will participate in an intercultural “buddy” system with women from the host country; 2) they will be introduced to recent technologies to help them gain access to the labour market more quickly; 3) they will also have the opportunity to participate in internships in the community in order to acquire work experiences that will help them gain a foothold in the labour market.
