Purpose: Women’s Multicultural Resource & Counselling Centre of Durham will increase immigrant and racialized women’s knowledge on issues of violence through interactive workshops, support groups, leadership training, outreach, counselling, and partnership building efforts. Through public education and workshops, WMRCCD aims to assist young women and women to prevent violence and develop more effective means in enabling them to more fully participate socially and culturally in Durham. Evaluation benchmarks had been set.
