Purpose: This three-year project will develop and test training, mentoring and networking tools and programs that will assist 95 Aboriginal, immigrant, racial minority and older women to develop micro-skills companies. It will also develop tools to increase the management capacity of women responsible for 30 community economic development enterprises, to help them plan growth. PARO will train 20 trainers/facilitators to provide support that responds to the needs of each target group and will provide tools for comprehensive, in-depth coaching programs. Learning and best practices will be shared with other community economic enterprises in Ontario and with the Canadian Women’s Community Economic Development Network.
