Purpose: This 18-month project will develop and implement a model to support 170 immigrant service providers across Canada in improving their programs to respond to the needs and challenges of immigrant and refugee women. The Canadian Council of Refugees, working with local women and the staff of eight immigrant service organizations, will review each organizational program using the Pathways to Gender Justice Toolkit. The evaluation will document lessons learned, best practices, key challenges and solution models. Evaluation results and a list of service improvements made by the eight participating organizations will be made available to all Canadian Council for Refugees members and immigrant women’s organizations.
