Location: Vancouver, British Columbia
Date: 2008-03-03
Value: $262,212.00

Purpose: The project aims to empower Filipino women to leave abusive relationships and to provide them with the skills and training necessary to regain their economic independence. This project will particularly focus on women working as live-in caregivers who entered Canada under the federal government’s Live-In Caregiver Program. Comments: Multi-year project of 3 years (2008-2010).
