The holistic workshop materials, project template and resource documentation and online reference materials will be developed with participants then shared with four other Native Friendship Centers in the Atlantic region. A “train the trainer” component and two retreats will foster the development of a regional approach on economic security and safety issues in each of the five targeted Centers located across the region. The building of this new and innovative collaborative outreach approach will reach out to other key service organizations that support Aboriginal women to help themselves to gain economic security.
