Purpose: To create and deliver to Canadian women entrepreneurs an education program called “Opening doors to Corporate Markets: Opportunities, the Road to Success, Winning Contracts and Sharing Success”. The project will educate Canadian women business owners about supplier diversity programs in the US and Canada. It will train women business owners on how to pursue multi national corporations and government business in both Canada and the US, and provide coaching and mentoring to high potential women entrepreneurs to ensure rapid success and create models for success for other women. Most importantly, the program will create a network of successful Canadian women entrepreneurs who are able to bid individually and jointly on large corporate and government contracts. Introducing women business owners to the enormous network of supplier diversity contacts in Canada and the US will be central to the training, coaching and mentoring programs.
