Purpose: This 36-month project will build leadership capacity; facilitate strategic partnerships; examine women leading change; foster connections among women and build credibility to unlock their potential as catalysts of change. The project will build and enhance each individual’s leadership skills and abilities through mentorship, skills training and hands on experience. A diverse cross section of women of varied ages, ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds will be invited to apply. The Project will focus on three specific areas of leadership starting with: • awareness of self and others, • mentorship, and • Learning the processes of governance in the political, economic and social change arenas.
