Purpose: This 36-month project will build relationships between Aboriginal and northern women in the Yukon and law enforcement officials and service providers to help women to transition to violence-free lives. A series of workshops will be held on relevant topics such as safety and violence. Participants will develop community tools, protocols, RCMP orientation documents, and community action plans to inform and improve social service delivery and policing for women living in Yukon communities.
