Purpose: This 36-month project will work to address barriers to economic security for low-income women living in Charlottetown and the immediate surrounding area in Prince Edward Island. An advisory committee of low-income women and other key stakeholders will be formed to identify priorities and strategies for the development of a community plan. In order to facilitate their participation in community planning, the project will train representatives from the target population to act as project facilitators and investigators.
