Purpose: This 24-month project will target first year students at Seneca College’s five campuses in the Toronto area. It will conduct a gender-based analysis of attitudes and service gaps on campus in order to reduce gender-based violence. A working group composed of representatives of key stakeholders including student unions, security personnel, residents, law enforcement, and community organizations will be formed to develop an educational strategy to reduce violence on campus and assist the college in developing tools to support young people experiencing violence.
