Purpose: This 36-month project will assist women living with HIV in British Columbia to address the multiple social barriers they face and increase the responsiveness of services available to women with HIV. Through leadership training, women will improve their ability to participate in their communities as volunteers or in other leadership roles. A particular focus of this project will be increasing the target population’s ability to participate in decision-making forums influencing programs and services for women affected by HIV. The women-specific training curriculum developed by this project will be shared with the Network’s member agencies and other key stakeholders.
