Purpose: This 36-month project aims to better identify the needs of women involved in prostitution and those who have exited it in order to develop a service model geared to the various realities of women in the sex industry. The organization will work with women who have engaged in prostitution and front-line partners to prepare a profile of needs and existing services and test various alternatives for supporting women who want to exit prostitution. It will also develop a training program on working with women in prostitution, which will be given to groups and institutions that are likely to be in contact with women experiencing commercial sexual exploitation.The service model and training will be tools for better influencing decision makers and empowering stakeholders as well as women involved in prostitution in order to combat commercial sexual exploitation.
