Purpose: This 24-month project will engage community members, ethno-cultural agencies and mainstream service providers to identify and develop strategies for addressing violence committed in the name of so-called “honour” in Edmonton, Alberta. In collaboration with stakeholders, the project will identify the barriers women and girls from diverse ethno-cultural communities face and work towards developing comprehensive and collaborative strategies to address honour-related violence.
