Purpose: This 24 month project will build collaboration between community based organizations and local resources to create a coordinated community response to address and prevent sexual violence in rural and remote communities in Saskatchewan. The project will work in four communities to develop and implement a strategy to enhance the capacity of local resources in responding to this issue. The project will also establish a western collaboration with organizations from Manitoba, Alberta, and British Columbia to share knowledge on gaps and best practices to improve responses to sexual assault across western Canada.
