Purpose: This 30-month project will engage stakeholders to increase opportunities for the advancement of women coaches in the sport sector across Canada through the piloting of a sustainable mentorship model. In collaboration with key delivery partners, the project will engage women coaches in identifying their needs, as well as the gaps in existing programs/services that prevent them from advancing in the sector. The project will develop and pilot a mentorship model for women coaches to address these needs that will be delivered through the Coaching Association of Canada. The organization will share results of the model using its extensive networks, including their website and social media.
