| Purpose: | This 36 month project will seek to improve gender equality for women in sport in Ontario. Using a gender-based analysis, current practices amongst Ontario provincial sport organizations at the local and provincial levels will be assessed, and the systemic barriers related to policy, environment, interpersonal and intrapersonal levels that are preventing women from accessing leadership positions in sport organizations will be examined. Resources and tools to increase women’s representation in positions of leadership will be piloted in two provincial sport associations, and results, tools and resources will be shared with the broader sport sector in Ontario. |
