Purpose: This 36-month project will seek to address the under-representation of women in leadership positions in Ontario’s health care system. The organization will conduct a Gender-based Analysis Plus, including factors such as language, ethnicity, Indigenous status, and socioeconomic status, to identify systemic barriers. The organization will undertake a broad literature review to identify sustainable systemic changes that were successful here and abroad. It will use learning laboratories to develop tools and resources to support the implementation of these systemic changes. A community of practice of key partners will also support women’s leadership and overall advancement in the health care system.
