Purpose: In order to prevent sexual assault, CALACS in Rimouski will take action to address hypersexualization and early sexualization. The group has four objectives: to give women and girls affected by this situation an opportunity for active participation; to make workers in the region aware of this issue; to obtain commitment from these workers; and to reduce the number of inappropriate references to sexuality and gender stereotypes in local and regional media.
