Purpose: The purpose of this group's project is to promote women's participation in decision-making in matters of health and social services. The group's objectives are: to promote discussion among women's organizations, and between women's organizations and health and social services planning and organization officials in the Chaudière-Appalaches region; to ensure that women are better represented at local health and social services centres and regional groupings of these centres; to encourage co-operation among women's organizations; and to promote women's participation in, and influence on, health and social services decision-making bodies.
