Purpose: The Muslim Women and Youth: Enabling Civic Participation project is to train and support Muslim women and community interveners in supporting grassroots self help on pre-marital agreements and family arrangements that promote the economic sustainability of Muslim families. It will also establish partnerships between Muslim women/parents, students, immigrant service providers and school authorities to identify the challenges faced by Muslim youth, document school practices and values and three processes to joint problem solving. Training on the resulting models will be offered to 19 Muslim women community representatives so they initiate similar partnerships to solve Muslim youth issues.
