Purpose: The Mobile Access Project (MAP) delivers a unique, comprehensive and flexible mobile safety program providing accessible, rapid response peer support services for women and girls. The mobile service is accessed for assistance and support on average 1,500 times per month by sex workers in Vancouver, BC. The service operates overnight when it is most needed and incorporates a skills training component to recruit, train and employ former sex workers.
