Purpose: Using its experience in knowledge transfer and large-scale project management, Relais-femmes will improve the economic security of women, especially those from certain cultural communities, by developing their economic proficiency, changing their relationship to money, improving their knowledge of the links between women and multiculturalism, and encouraging community workers to enrol in a retirement plan. More than a thousand women throughout Quebec will participate in the various activities of this project. Partner organizations include the Service aux collectivités [community services] of the Université du Québec à Montréal, the Centre de formation populaire, the Réseau québécois de l’action communautaire autonome, the Fédération des centres d’action bénévole du Québec, and L’R des centres de femmes du Québec.
