Purpose: This project has three main activities: leadership and participation training for women; mentorship and networking. The leadership training by Centre de développement femmes et gouvernance (Centre for the Development of Women in Governance CDFG) will provide four, five day courses in four different parts of Quebec annually for three years. The mentorship activity will provide support services for women seeking to play an active role in the democratic process as well as in economic, social and cultural sectors. Once a year, networking activities will be carried out by Groupe Femmes, Politique et Démocratie (GFPD).
