Purpose: The Centre de prévention des agressions de Montréal is proposing the two-year Diversité en action project. This project targets Aboriginal, immigrant and visible minority women in the greater Montréal area. The organization will recruit interns from each of these groups of women and train trainers, and then test and assess the learning methodology, which will have to be devoid of any discriminatory aspects. The tools developed will have to be capable of preventing violence against the women targeted by this project. Finally, the activities aimed at increasing awareness about the problem of discrimination will be presented to Montrealers.
