Purpose: This pilot project will focus on life skills for marginalized women in the Prince Rupert area of British Columbia. It will support women in taking the initial steps towards independence and stability while providing them with the essential basic tools to address their personal barriers. Project activities will include budgeting, homemaking, nutritious meal planning, self-care, personal responsibility, family activity ideas, routines and organizing for success. In consultation with each of the participants, a personal action plan with individual goals will be established for each woman.
Comments: Multi-year project of 24 months.
