Purpose: The purpose of this 36-month project by the Association pour le développement socioculturel de la femme is to help 60 girls, between 15 and 17 years of age, through a unique and innovative interactive leadership program. The training workshops and tools provided to them will enable them to develop their leadership skills and to develop the ability to influence and innovate. Participants will benefit from the assistance and expertise of leadership professionals. The approach will culminate in a community project that will have a direct impact on women in their respective communities. Participants from every background, selected on the basis of previously established criteria, will come from Francophone high schools and CEGEPs in eight different regions of Quebec. This dynamic project will directly reach 60 teenage girls and will have an indirect impact on close to 1,800 girls.
