The organization will collaborate with service providers to develop culturally appropriate and empowering strategies for meeting the needs of sex workers from immigrant and visible minority communities as well as potential or actual victims of trafficking. SWAN Vancouver will also develop and distribute culturally appropriate and work-specific health, safety and legal resources for these women. In addition, the organization will conduct ongoing needs assessments and gather empirical data on the impact of the 2010 Olympics on its target population.
