|Purpose: ||This 18-month project will work directly with 70 women in rural and urban areas in the Yukon. A financial literacy train the trainer session will be held to teach staff of womens organizations to deliver this training across the Yukon. The project will be open to all women but will focus on marginalized and low-income women. The Money Management for Women workshops in Whitehorse will consist of five sessions over five weeks, and the rural Yukon workshops will consist of two sessions over one or two days, depending on the capacity of the participants and partnering organizations. This training will directly assist the women to achieve economic literacy and to participate more fully in economic and social spheres. Follow-up will be done with the participants once the project is completed.
