Purpose: This 36-month project will assist francophone women living in South Western Ontario to improve their economic situation and security. Ninety women will gain a better knowledge and understanding, and acquire the necessary skills to enter the business world and potentially to start a small business in Canada. The project will have four components: the development of tools; delivery of a series of training and development workshops for all participants; support to put into practice newly acquired skills for those wishing to enter the job market; and the option of a placement in a small business enterprise managed by women in South Western Ontario for those wishing to pursue entrepreneurship.
