Recipient Name: White Ribbon Campaign
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Date: 2013-09-10
Value: $300,000.00
Type: Grant
Purpose: This 36-month project will build a community of practice among nine organizations currently receiving funding from Status of Women Canada to address violence against women and girls by engaging men and boys. The White Ribbon Campaign will develop, in conjunction with funded organizations, a national evaluation framework to ensure consistency in reporting results and will provide a platform for these funded organizations to share best/promising practices along with the challenges they face. As a result, the White Ribbon Campaign will develop a “made-in-Canada” online toolkit for engaging men and boys to be disseminated widely throughout the country.
