Purpose: This 36-month project will work to prevent and eliminate violence experienced by Aboriginal women and girls through the development of a coordinated service delivery model in the Vallée-de-l’Or region. In partnership with key stakeholders and Aboriginal women and girls, a culturally-specific and client-centered service model will be developed, piloted and evaluated to respond to the needs of women and girl victims of violence. A guide will be developed and shared with other Aboriginal centres throughout the province to encourage implementation of the service delivery model.
