Purpose: This 36-month project will seek to increase the retention and representation of women in executive leadership and skilled roles in the technology sector in British Columbia. The organization will engage key industry stakeholders in the creation of a gender diversity assessment tool to enable ongoing evaluation and measurement of the advancement and retention of women leaders in the sector and specific partner organizations. Industry leadership will be assisted to address identified gaps through a platform of resources, best practices, guides and case studies. Results will also be disseminated amongst broader stakeholders in order to strengthen approaches to addressing barriers in the workplace.
