|Purpose: ||This 36-month project will work to increase adolescent girls safety and access to services by developing and implementing a standardized sexual assault prevention strategy in Quebecs secondary schools. In collaboration with sexual assault centers and subject matter experts, the prevention model, which includes workshops for youth and training for school staff, will be developed and piloted in five regions before being deployed across the province. An external evaluation of the model and its impact will be conducted. Knowledge, best practices and evaluation results will be shared with provincial stakeholders.
Supplement: Supplemental funding will allow for the development of professional and culturally adapted tools, and allow for greater participation in the pilot and implementation phases.
